What's on and what's happening at Cannich Hall

Please visit our Groups and Clubs page for details of the many activities taking place in the Hall on a weekly or regular basis. In addition there are a number of special events and functions taking place that we we would like to tell you about. These are listed below.

Basket Making Weekend 19th & 20th May 2012  from 9am to 4.30 pm

Tim Palmer has taught basket making for many years and can transform a simple bundle of twigs into something really useful and beautiful.

He is running a 2 day basket making course in the hall. Places are limited - and we've already had a lot of interest - so to reserve your place contact Roni Smith on 01456 415440 or email roni.smith05@btinternet.com

Cost £65

This is for the whole weekend and includes, tuition, all materials and a light lunch. If you have your own tools do feel free to bring them along.

Craft Day Sunday 10th June 2012   from 11.00am to 3.00pm

Spinning, weaving, felting, knitting, dressmaking, lace making and much more! There are activities for all ages and you can either watch demonstrations or get involved and have a go yourself.

The day includes making a wall hanging for Cannich Hall. This will be felted by a pony and is, we're reliably informed, the first known attempt of this ancient Mongolian technique in the UK.

Local crafts , teas, coffees, homemade soup & home baking will also be on sale.

Entry £1.00

If you would like to demonstrate please contact Rosie on 01456 415 454

A great family day out!
